It is with great pride and immense pleasure that I welcome you to MISSABCON 2026, being held in conjunction with the 26th PASMISS and 5th COSSCON, in the beautiful city of Chennai.

This prestigious event brings together some of the brightest minds in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from across the globe. Over the course of three days, we will engage in meaningful academic discussions, share transformative surgical experiences, and explore the frontiers of MISS through innovative technologies and evolving techniques.

Our goal is simple yet profound: to enhance surgical outcomes and improve the quality of life for our patients. Through collaboration and collective learning, I am confident that MISSABCON 2026 will leave each of us inspired and better equipped in our pursuit of excellence.

It is with immense pleasure and a profound sense of honor that I, Dr. Sudhir Ganesan, the Organizing Secretary, extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each of you for the 12th MISSABCON, held concurrently with the 26th PASMISS and the 5th COSSCON!

This truly momentous occasion brings together leading minds and passionate professionals from across the globe to share, learn, and innovate in our dynamic fields. Chennai, a city rich in culture and renowned for its hospitality, is delighted to be your host.

We’ve meticulously curated a scientific program that promises to be both enriching and insightful. This year, we’re particularly excited to feature a Ten-Country MISS Conclave, fostering diverse international perspectives. Prepare for focused group discussions that delve deep into critical topics, alongside live recorded video sessions offering invaluable one-on-one interaction with experts. Our state-of-the-art cadaveric workshops will provide unparalleled hands-on learning. We’ll also be celebrating excellence with the MISSAB Best Research Paper Award, MISSAB Best Innovation Award, Young Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon Award, and Best Free Paper Awards for every session.

The confluence of the greatest minds of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from ten countries is going to happen in Chennai in 2026. I am delighted to invite all of you to the 12th MISSABCON, 26th PASMISS, and 5th COSSCON in the vibrant city of Chennai, on behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Chennai Ortho Spine Society.

With the sole aim of providing the best results to our patients, we all must endeavour to better our knowledge and skills. The coming together of PASMISS, MISSABCON, and COSSCON is a profound step in realising this aim.

It is going to be a fantastic knowledge-sharing opportunity, with immensely experienced faculty coming together to bring us up to speed with the ‘state of the art’ of minimally invasive spine surgery.

The program is being designed to be a platform for the experienced as well as the young spine surgeons to showcase their work in emerging techniques and technologies, contest for the prestigious awards, and network with the leaders in the field of MISS.
